Brave People Make Things

Brave People Make Things so get excited and make things….The first five (5) people to respond to this post will get something made by me.

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations so please read carefully:

1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make. Whatcha get is whatcha get.
2. What I create will be just for you, with love.
3. It’ll be done this year (2009).
4. I will not give you any clue what it’s going to be. It will be something made in the real world and not something cyber. It may be weird or beautiful. Or it may be monstrous and annoying. Heck, I might bake something for you and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that’s for sure!
5. I reserve the right to do something strange.
6. In return, all you need to do is post this text on your blog and make 5 things for the first 5 to respond to your blog post.
7. Send your mailing address - after I contact you.

IMPORTANT: This offer is null and void if I do not see you post your own blog to pay this forward

a new challenge

This will be a long post. I can't believe I didn't post more of my gothic arches. I will have to find them and get them on the blog.
I cropped at Donna's yesterday, along with Michelle. Donna was ready and had 3 new journals waiting for me, her and Michelle to start a new habit. She had been reading on 2peas about Rhonna Ferrar's challenge to start a journal and create something each day. She says it takes 21 days to make a habit. So we are going to make a new habit this month. Plus I owe Donna big, as I wanted to do a Moonlight, Chocolate and Roses swap. Donna finished and had it waiting there for me to see too... boy, did I feel like a heel...I didn't do mine. My big excuse was 'I was doing mine in fabric and my trusty ole machine died'. Too busy whining to think about doing something different. I will take up her 21 day habit challenge though. It may not be great or produce that WOW factor that everyone wants, but I will put my best effort in this undertaking.
Day 1 - I completed this while at Donna's on March 1.

Day 2 - I did this today. Pretty simple beginnings. I saw the fairy stamp while at Donna's and remembered my a quote from my granny and knew I would use the fairy and the quote today.

Gothic Arch Challenge - School theme

I found this site Gothic Arches - a challenge blog for mixed media/rubber stampers while reading blogs and wanted to join in on the fun. There are so many fun and creative swaps out here in blogland but they're always full or closed by the time I find them. A challenge just might be the ticket to my blog participation. I just made the deadline for the school theme entry and hope I'm able to participate in all of them
